The idea of a password manager makes you think of a couple of questions. What are they? Isn’t putting all of your passwords in one place risky? Well, those are good questions. What a password manager does

A password manager is a secure app that stores all your passwords in one encrypted vault. You unlock the vault with a single master password. After that, the password manager can fill in your logins for you and create strong, unique passwords for all of your accounts.

An analogy of a password manager would be like a safe for your keys. Instead of hiding keys under doormats or in flowerpots all over your house, or places you might not remember, you keep them in one locked safe. You only need to remember the combination to that one safe.
